About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage stock, storage, and issuance of C-17 unique managed and RAF owned materials, including repairables, consumables, and hazardous products (FLAP).
- Process and receive high volumes of hand tools, test equipment, and consumables.
- Conduct regular tool kit serviceability checks and perform 100% tool checks at the start and end of every shift.
- Execute physical inventory management, including large-scale stocktaking, cycle counts, shelf-life reviews, and inventory accuracy resolution.
- Manage UK Customs Warehousing logistical documentation, including import/export shipping documents.
- Package and track parts for local and global movements, providing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support.
- Operate warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklift counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Support periodic Boeing, customer, and regulatory warehouse quality and safety audits.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
- Active UK Driving License.
- Experience with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Availability to work shifts (shift allowance provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active civilian Forklift Counterbalance and Reach truck licenses.
- Knowledge of supply applications such as TCMax, GOLDEsp, MJDI, or PUBLOG.
- Understanding of COSHH regulations and Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) implications.
- Familiarity with MILSTRIP ordering processes and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply processes.
