Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage stock, storage, and issuance of C-17 unique managed and RAF owned materials, including repairables, consumables, and hazardous products (FLAP).
• Process and receive high volumes of hand tools, test equipment, and consumables.
• Conduct regular tool kit serviceability checks and perform 100% tool checks at the start and end of every shift.
• Execute physical inventory management, including large-scale stocktaking, cycle counts, shelf-life reviews, and inventory accuracy resolution.
• Manage UK Customs Warehousing logistical documentation, including import/export shipping documents.
• Package and track parts for local and global movements, providing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support.
• Operate warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklift counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Support periodic Boeing, customer, and regulatory warehouse quality and safety audits.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Active UK Driving License.
• Experience with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Availability to work shifts (shift allowance provided).

Preferred Qualifications

• Active civilian Forklift Counterbalance and Reach truck licenses.
• Knowledge of supply applications such as TCMax, GOLDEsp, MJDI, or PUBLOG.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations and Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) implications.
• Familiarity with MILSTRIP ordering processes and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply processes.
