About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily ordering, tracking, receiving, and verification of medical products for hospital and clinical departments.
- Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly physical inventory counts using the PANDAC materials management solution.
- Identify excess, inactive, or expired inventory and coordinate stock returns and credits.
- Reorganize, label, and maintain stocking locations to support efficient SKU location and clinical workflow.
- Prepare quarterly inventory reports and provide recommendations for storage consolidation and product standardization.
- Maintain consistent communication with nursing staff, departmental managers, and hospital supply chain teams.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare surgical services, materials management, or logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience using inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- CRCST or CST certification (Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician or Certified Surgical Technologist).
- Experience with LEAN principles or organizational/project management methodologies.
- Exposure to Qsight inventory management software.
- Basic knowledge of wound closure products and surgical procedures.
