About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maturity and robustness of supplier manufacturing and supply chain processes to prevent supply failures.
- Drive continuous improvement of supply chain performance regarding the delivery of supplied products.
- Review supplier capacity and capability to secure ramp-up periods and meet Airbus industrial objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct supplier surveillance via audits and assessments.
- Manage supplier preventive and corrective action plans to ensure results meet expected levels.
- Monitor major industrial risks, including industrial transfers and major planning changes, to protect Airbus operations.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including MFT leaders, Programs, and Final Assembly Lines (FALs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
- 8+ years of professional experience in procurement operations and supply chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Regulations, Quality Core Tools, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), auditing, and risk management.
- Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- CPIM certification (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to supplier sites by car and plane.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
