Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own site materials availability, inventory strategy, procurement execution, and inbound logistics for raw materials and packaging.
• Establish and maintain planning parameters including safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, freight costs, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Lead inventory risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce excess, obsolescence, and stockouts.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing supply.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement effectiveness and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain.
• Proven experience managing inventory planning strategies and supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier agreements and commercial terms.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, MRP planning tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
