About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate procurement tasks to ensure the on-time delivery of goods and services for new Amazon Fulfillment Centers
- Track and report project progress, proactively identifying risks and managing mitigation plans
- Monitor Purchase Order status and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely equipment delivery
- Partner with Category Managers to standardize order and escalation processes
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with internal Start Up and Launch teams
- Lead the setup of standard procurement procedures and identify ways to streamline existing processes
- Manage supplier relationships, including inventory management and long-term supply chain strategies
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and service level agreements for core programs
Requirements
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 3+ years of experience driving process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple levels of an organization
- Experience building processes, project management frameworks, and schedules
