Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world through a deep software and hardware stack.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement end to end, including requests, POs, receiving, and vendor onboarding.
• De-risk the supply chain by finding and qualifying second sources for critical inputs.
• Negotiate with suppliers to establish volume commitments and pricing agreements to improve margins.
• Drive down the cost of protein production by optimizing reagent and consumable categories.
• Set inventory policy, including reorder points and safety stock levels.
• Plan supply requirements for lab expansion and increased throughput.
• Manage landed costs, including shipping, customs, import duties, and cold chain logistics.
• Partner with Finance to manage COGS and automate procurement workflows.

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain or procurement within a physical, technical business (Biotech, CRO, or life sciences preferred).
• Understanding of reagent categories such as enzymes, antibodies, media, resins, and plasticware.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
• Technical aptitude to communicate effectively with scientific teams.
• Ability to automate processes and work with technical systems/APIs.
• High attention to detail regarding lead times, expiry dates, and lot numbers.
• Experience with Swiss or EU import/export processes is a strong plus.
