Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyze and redesign end-to-end processes for First and Middle Mile disruption inquiries to improve resolution speed.
• Identify variations in resolution time across different time slots, case types, and regions to build structural improvements.
• Consolidate inquiry channels from various sites and internal teams into a centralized management system within the Disruption Recovery team.
• Design and apply unified SLA standards to expand coverage and optimize costs.
• Monitor primary metrics (Resolution Speed) and perform deep dives into input metrics when anomalies are detected.
• Validate the causal relationship between metrics and quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of improvement measures.
• Establish data-driven decision-making processes and report findings through Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews (WBR/MBR).

Requirements

• Business level Japanese proficiency.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, operations design, or business process reform.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement projects through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in the design and construction of KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in design within logistics, supply chain, or trunk line transportation operations.
• Data analysis experience using tools such as SQL or Python.
• Experience with process improvement in large-scale operational environments (e.g., contact centers, logistics centers).
• Proven track record in end-to-end process mapping and optimization.
