Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Manager

Responsibilities

• Set regional sourcing strategies and coordinate key supply chain projects and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new processes, technologies, and policies.
• Execute strategic change initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze current supply chain processes and recommend solutions using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure integration of initiatives.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement projects.
• Manage Product Offer Management project timelines and optimize sourcing for new and existing products.
• Lead a team of Initiative Advisors to drive continuous process improvements and speed to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain network or supplier management.
• Proven supervisory experience (3+ years preferred) leading teams in a supply chain environment.
• Strong proficiency in SAP systems and MS Excel.
• Extensive experience in project management and complex coordination.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier management and conducting data-driven analyses.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a global, virtual team environment.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills to influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning roles within Chemical, FMCG, CPG, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Background in petrochemical production or manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of R or Python for scripting and advanced analytics.
