About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site inventory management services for hospitals using the PANDAC materials management solution.
- Perform weekly physical inventory counts for wound closure products and identify excess inventory.
- Reorganize, re-sequence, and label stocking locations to ensure efficient SKU management.
- Maintain departmental stocking locations according to quarterly report standards, including inventory turnover and inactive item reports.
- Process credits and returns for excess or expired stock according to company procedures.
- Upload end-of-quarter counts to the PANDAC server and maintain hard copy records for data backup.
- Collaborate with departmental managers and nursing staff to provide high-quality customer service.
Requirements
- Experience in LEAN or project/organizational management methodology.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Exposure to inventory management software and the ability to use technology to document supply movement.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects through to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician) or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare surgical services or logistics materials management.
- Basic knowledge of wound closure products (sutures, needles, endomechanical products).
