About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and ensure on-time fulfillment of orders by scheduling, placing, and releasing orders to ensure material availability.
- Plan, adjust, and monitor inventories while managing replenishment parameters.
- Ensure on-time processing and delivery of purchased materials.
- Participate in master data maintenance, including pricing and lead time updates.
- Analyze data to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for planning and material management.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all internal and external stakeholders regarding supply chain issues.
- Work closely with Procurement for material sourcing and Logistics/Compliance for the movement of goods.
- Support Supply Chain management in special projects and operations projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning and materials management (or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Supply Chain with a strong, required focus on Inventory Management.
- Proven proficiency in Excel for mining, evaluating, and visualizing data.
- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience working within complex matrix or centralized organizations.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a diverse organizational environment.
