Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory management and analytics efforts, including monitoring stock levels, turns, excess/obsolete material, and service risk.
• Perform detailed inventory analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Provide analytical support for planning discussions regarding demand, backorders, inventory performance, and ERP data.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to improve visibility into inventory and order performance.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations stakeholders to align inventory strategies with production needs.
• Perform data preparation, modeling, and validation to support scalable, automated reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for data visualization and complex analysis.
• Experience in supply chain, MRP, or materials planning within a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Familiarity with planning or ERP tools such as QAD or Mfg Pro.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASCM CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Extensive experience in business process improvement and identifying efficient operational approaches.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and quantify risks/benefits.
