About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead inventory management and analytics efforts, including monitoring stock levels, turns, excess/obsolete material, and service risk.
- Perform detailed inventory analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Provide analytical support for planning discussions regarding demand, backorders, inventory performance, and ERP data.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to improve visibility into inventory and order performance.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations stakeholders to align inventory strategies with production needs.
- Perform data preparation, modeling, and validation to support scalable, automated reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for data visualization and complex analysis.
- Experience in supply chain, MRP, or materials planning within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Familiarity with planning or ERP tools such as QAD or Mfg Pro.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASCM CSCP or CPIM certification.
- Extensive experience in business process improvement and identifying efficient operational approaches.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and quantify risks/benefits.
