About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, cost management, and service performance
  • Gather and analyse operational supply chain data to support optimisation projects
  • Support implementation of initiatives across procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Analyse current processes to identify bottlenecks and develop process maps and SOPs
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making
  • Monitor key performance metrics including inventory levels and supplier performance
  • Support the adoption of supply chain systems and digital solutions
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and coordinate communication during optimisation projects
  • Monitor supply chain risks and support contingency planning
  • Monitor contractor and service provider performance against KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, Information Management, or a relevant NQF6 discipline
  • 3–5 years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Sound knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and optimisation principles
  • Understanding of supply chain analytics, KPI management, and data visualisation
  • Familiarity with digital supply chain tools and reporting platforms
  • Knowledge of business process mapping and root cause analysis
  • SA Drivers Licence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, or a relevant NQF7 discipline
