Supply Chain Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient order handling to meet field needs and provide regular updates to customers regarding delays or problem items
• Initiate reports for items on order to ensure they are processed for sourcing, picking, packing, and shipping
• Follow up on the movement of goods, transportation, and import/export permits
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and manage back-order reviews
• Monitor stock levels, including monthly reviews of short-expiry items and identification of slow-moving or obsolete stock
• Participate in warehouse stock-taking and reconciliation processes
• Coordinate with the Procurement team regarding urgent medical and non-medical stock items

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, procurement, warehousing, or inventory management
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic
• Valid driving license for manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to work in an onsite capacity in Cairo

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or APICS/ASCM
• Previous experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or other international organizations
