About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as an internal consultant to support supply chain system optimization and feasibility initiatives through advanced analytics.
- Utilize modeling software and tools to provide decision support for global and regional business stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional improvement teams, owning the modeling and analysis activities required to interpret results.
- Recommend efficiencies across the end-to-end supply chain based on modeling project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred), Operations Research, or related fields such as Applied Mathematics or Statistics.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in supply chain and modeling/analytics.
- Proficiency in data visualization and scripting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and Business Warehouse (BW).
- Ability to overlap work hours with US time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain network design optimization or logistics and distribution analytics.
- Proficiency with optimization or simulation tools such as Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru, BlueYonder, AnyLogistix, or AnyLogic.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets.
- Strong ability to translate long-term deadlines into actionable work tasks and communicate complex subjects to diverse audiences.
