Supply Chain Materials Planner II

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and adjust min/max inventory levels based on usage, trends, and lead times
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy of critical spares
• Optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to automate replenishment and streamline workflows
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure material readiness and eliminate stock-out delays
• Manage the kitting process to ensure accurate material packages are delivered to the shop floor
• Collaborate with procurement to manage vendor lead times and monitor supply chain disruptions
• Evaluate supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, and responsiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables for data analysis
