Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning, purchasing, inventory management, and shipping functions
• Manage the planning and purchasing team, including goal setting and performance management
• Define and manage key supplier quality improvement needs and execute corrective actions
• Maximize on-time delivery performance and develop service metrics for customers
• Oversee inventory performance, including purchase order backlog and excess/obsolete inventory disposition
• Develop and evolve information systems, including ERP/MRP and forecasting software
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures to support business requirements and Lean principles
• Manage and develop the supplier base to support operations and achieve cost reduction targets
• Lead the Logistics team, including supervision of hourly shipping personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics within a large manufacturing organization
• Proficiency with real-time ERP/MRP platforms (SAP experience is a plus)
• Proven management and leadership experience leading direct and matrixed reports
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the business
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certification in 6-Sigma, APICS, or other relevant industry training
