Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Supply & Demand Planning process at the Operating Company level to drive IBP maturity.
• Develop and execute the Supply & Demand strategy to improve supply excellence and service levels.
• Lead demand planning cycles, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
• Manage the supply planning team to optimize production, raw materials, and inventory levels.
• Optimize the supply network to improve OTIF (On Time In Full) and EBIT performance.
• Manage inventory and working capital, ensuring optimal replenishment and minimizing waste or stock-outs.
• Lead and coach a team of supply and demand planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Act as the primary link between Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand/supply planning or IBP, preferably within FMCG, pharma, or the animal feed industry.
• Native or equivalent fluency in Japanese.
• Proficiency in Business English.
• Advanced expertise in ERP tools and high proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for detailed numerical analysis.
• Proven experience in leadership and managing/coaching planning experts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infor M3.
• Background in Customer Service, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Sales.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
