About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily supply chain operations for the Operating Rooms and Medical Procedures Unit to ensure surgical supplies, implants, and instruments are available for all procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, supply planning, replenishment, procurement coordination, and logistics.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, supply utilization, and key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
- Supervise, coach, and develop staff, including managing hiring, onboarding, and performance.
- Partner with clinical, administrative, finance, and vendor stakeholders to support operational needs.
- Lead process improvement efforts to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance service levels.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, healthcare operations, or materials management.
- Prior supervisory, management, or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply planning, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain or a relevant field.
- Experience with medical products, OR surgeries, and clinical practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain processes specifically within a healthcare setting.
- Experience developing operational and strategic plans.
