Supply Chain Manager

Kinetic Custom Trailers designs and manufactures heavy-duty custom trailers for the oil & gas, construction, energy, transportation, and specialized equipment sectors. With operations in Canada and a growing manufacturing presence in Waco, Texas, we deliver custom-built solutions across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing strategy, supplier management, and inventory discipline for the USA operation
• Mentor and manage the supply chain team to foster accountability and continuous improvement
• Build and nurture supplier partnerships to drive quality, cost savings, and reliability
• Design and refine inventory management systems to ensure accurate counts and optimized stock levels
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to support production schedules
• Partner with engineering, finance, and operations to resolve bottlenecks and improve ERP/MRP processes
• Implement process controls and reporting dashboards to reduce dependency on informal systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing operations
• 5+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing leadership role
• Proven experience leading or developing supply chain personnel
• Strong ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing setting
• Relevant post-secondary education or professional certification in Supply Chain
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Business Central
• Project management experience
