Supply Chain Manager - Director (Procurement)

About the Company

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable procurement processes and systems
• Manage ERP onboarding, including supplier setup and purchasing workflows
• Develop materials planning frameworks, safety stock policies, and procurement forecasting
• Strengthen supply chain resilience through multi-sourcing strategies and risk mitigation
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and supplier performance reviews
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships and performance scorecards
• Drive continuous improvement to maximize procurement efficiency and value
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing
• Experience in a high-growth or CPG environment preferred
• Strong foundation in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Understanding of CPG/manufacturing operations including co-manufacturers and 3PLs
• Ability to build processes from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
