Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers, inventory specialists, and production planners.
• Define and execute supply chain strategies that align with plant objectives and company initiatives.
• Oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and delivery performance.
• Manage inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
• Oversee production planning to align material supply with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and data analytics.
• Monitor KPIs related to supply chain efficiency, material availability, and cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.
• Proven experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and data analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
