Supply Chain Manager

About the Company

Antares is on a mission to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt by building mass-producible, inherently safe, deployable microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic roadmap for commodities including machined components, electromechanical systems, and thermal management
• Identify and onboard suppliers to support prototyping and full-rate production
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturing (DFM)
• Coordinate with quality teams to ensure compliance with supplier onboarding and documentation requirements
• Develop a robust logistics supply base including freight forwarders and specialty material transportation
• Create foundational processes for supply chain planning, procurement, and materials management
• Develop performance metrics to manage critical path items
• Execute actions to guarantee schedules for engineering and testing milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, finance, supply chain, or business
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, business operations, or supplier quality (or 5+ years of relevant experience)
• Ability to travel up to 40%
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support milestones
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain for complex systems and assemblies
• Background in aerospace & defense, automotive, semiconductor, or energy industries
• Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems
• Proven success in a start-up environment
