About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supplier management, engineering, quality assurance, and warehousing to support 787 Program Operations
- Incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into production plans and coordinate part number attributes
- Verify that released engineering BOMs are correctly implemented in the material planning system
- Release and maintain orders, resolve delinquencies, and report schedule adherence issues
- Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete inventories while optimizing inventory levels
- Ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, and governmental regulations
- Support process improvements and the development of new ordering methodologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain and/or materials management
- 3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to management
- 3+ years of experience in fast-paced, customer-service critical environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work various shifts based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with ERPLN, Velocity, Order Manager, or REDARS systems
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations or production support
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and self-motivation skills
