Supply Chain Launch Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the material supply chain element of new product introduction (NPI)
• Support engineering with planning and execution of new product development and launch
• Align planning and supply chain to the latest engineering configurations
• Minimize inventory working capital impact through effective material phasing and burn off
• Work with procurement and scheduling to ensure material sourcing meets program milestones
• Liaise with engineering to identify product changes and schedule material demand
• Maintain planning parameters, BoMs, and part master data in ERP systems
• Create and maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping to ensure effective material flow
• Generate schedules for pre-production and prototype builds
• Monitor supplier and internal parts shipments and material control
• Organize shipments in accordance with parts release schedules
• Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to align capacity for program launch and ramp up

Requirements

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
• Robust working knowledge of MRP based systems
• Logistics or supply chain technical qualification (APICS, IoSCM, MCIPS, BSc etc)
• Highly numeric and analytical with strong attention to detail
• Understanding of BoMs, Routings, and Item Master Set up in an ERP system
• Solid organizational, time, and project management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English
