Supply Chain Intern

Responsibilities

• Place and maintain purchase orders in line with demand planning and MRP recommendations
• Manage material availability for assigned parts, proactively addressing shortages and delays
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve performance issues
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels using MRP data
• Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate material data, reports, and supply chain metrics
• Resolve invoice queries and support financial accuracy
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support production objectives

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or currently pursuing one)
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data management
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work within a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply Chain certification (e.g., CSCP)
• Experience working with MRP systems and supply chain processes
