Supply Chain Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the regional supply chain for engineering components, including parts, consumables, tooling and other spares
• Review technical drawings, specifications and component information to identify procurement routes
• Work with Engineering, Repairs and Procurement teams to assess local sourcing within the EMEA region
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve lead times and strengthen supplier capability
• Support the resolution of supply chain issues from initial request through to delivery
• Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Inventory and Logistics teams
• Prepare updates, reports and progress summaries for management

Requirements

• Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional, diplomatic and collaborative approach
