About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development of the regional supply chain for engineering components, including parts, consumables, tooling and other spares
- Review technical drawings, specifications and component information to identify procurement routes
- Work with Engineering, Repairs and Procurement teams to assess local sourcing within the EMEA region
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve lead times and strengthen supplier capability
- Support the resolution of supply chain issues from initial request through to delivery
- Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Inventory and Logistics teams
- Prepare updates, reports and progress summaries for management
Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional, diplomatic and collaborative approach
