Responsibilities

• Changing and replacing hazardous waste containers from patient rooms, hallways, and IV stations
• Preparing pharmacologic equipment for faster delivery of care by clinical staff
• Transporting supplies from the off-site warehouse
• Communicating with supervisor when equipment is not working
• Unloading, putting away, inventorying, and delivering freight when it arrives
• Replacing medication in pharmacy when requested
• Keeping the supply room organized, clean, and restocked daily
• Transporting materials to other HHER facilities
• Communicating with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly manner
• Utilizing the digital inventory system when supplies are used or moved

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read, speak, and write English
• Attention to detail and thoroughness
• Flexibility to meet scheduling demands
• Adaptability to ongoing changes
• Comfort with workplace technology
