Supply Chain Capacity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta, covering servers, network, and data center equipment.
• Design and implement software system improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and quality.
• Build mathematical models to perform simulation and optimization studies for supply/demand projections and scenario planning.
• Develop and analyze technical data to solve complex supply chain problems and drive strategic decision-making.
• Manage and resolve critical escalations and exceptions within the supply chain.
• Work cross-functionally to define problem statements and provide data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing models, optimization algorithms, or operations research.
• 3+ years of experience coding in languages such as Python, R, Java, C, C++, or PHP.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management (planning, manufacturing, operations, or inventory).
• Experience working with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience in infrastructure operations and technical infrastructure knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of applying AI or automation tools to improve planning workflows or forecast accuracy.
• Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods or demand planning tools for hardware supply chains.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, including server hardware or networking equipment deployment.
• Experience using business intelligence or data visualization platforms for capacity reporting.
