Supply Chain Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for site operations
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders in line with approved budgets and MRP outputs
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve best value
• Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and warehouse teams to identify material needs
• Track supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery to the site
• Expedite orders and shipments via suppliers and logistics service providers
• Resolve delivery issues, shortages, and invoice discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits and cost control
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience in site-based procurement, preferably in manufacturing or project environments
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and general procurement systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
