Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Select suppliers and support QA with supplier qualification
• Maintain Approved Supplier List and complete supply risk checks
• Coordinate with brokers and freight forwarders for pricing and service
• Create, approve, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs)
• Support Manufacturing Engineering with production planning and material availability
• Review BOMs and part drawings to confirm required components
• Coordinate all inbound/outbound shipments including courier, LTL/FTL, and import-export
• Prepare shipping documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork
• Act as a Certified Dangerous Goods (DG) shipper, classifying and packing goods per regulations
• Manage inventory control using Sage and Empower ERP systems
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate cycle counts
• Generate SEI reports to track customer usage and stock impact

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of related professional experience
• Expertise in procurement operations and supply chain strategy
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments and documentation
• Certified Dangerous Goods (DG) shipper
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the medical technology industry
• Experience with Sage or SEI reporting tools
