Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Select suppliers, maintain the Approved Supplier List, and perform supply risk checks.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including creating POs, obtaining approvals, and following up on deliveries.
• Support manufacturing engineering with production planning and material availability.
• Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, including courier, LTL/FTL, and international import-export.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Act as a Certified Dangerous Goods (DG) shipper, classifying, packing, and labeling goods per regulations.
• Manage inventory control by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and analyzing movements in the ERP system.
• Build and utilize reports to track customer usage and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Expertise in procurement operations and supply chain strategy.
• Proven experience coordinating domestic and international shipments and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
• Certified Dangerous Goods (DG) shipper with working knowledge of DG documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the medical technology industry.
• Experience using Sage or SEI reporting tools.
