About the Company

Fitt Talent Partners is a specialized recruitment firm working with top health and wellness companies. They are recruiting for a client building a consumer health platform that measures and interprets hormone and biomarker data to provide personalized health guidance via a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Build a diversified supply chain with backup suppliers to eliminate single-source dependencies
• Reduce COGS through vendor negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements
• Own vendor selection, qualification, audits, and long-term relationship management
• Manage vendor risk and contingency planning
• Eliminate cross-border delays and customs friction for US customers
• Stand up end-to-end order management from purchase to doorstep
• Manage 3PL and carrier relationships with clear performance SLAs
• Reduce per-order fulfillment costs as volume scales
• Roll out inventory tracking and procurement planning systems
• Build operational reporting for real-time visibility into inventory, landed costs, and order status
• Interface between supply chain and manufacturing for materials planning and production scheduling
• Set performance standards and accountability across external partners

Requirements

• End-to-end ownership of supply chain, procurement, and fulfillment at a physical-product company
• Experience scaling fulfillment from hundreds to thousands of orders per month, ideally in a Series A–C startup
• Experience managing cross-border shipping between Canada and the US, including customs, duties, and FDA requirements
• Proven track record of diversifying supplier bases and reducing COGS
• Background in consumer health, diagnostics, medical devices, or food tech
• Understanding of regulated product shipping and import/export requirements
• Ability to manage both high-level strategy and ground-level troubleshooting
• Proficiency with BOMs, production schedules, and materials planning
