Supply Base Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk Work Movement projects to ensure high-quality, on-time part transfers
• Manage external supplier relationships and conduct on-site engagements to identify and mitigate risks
• Develop and maintain project implementation plans and lead recurring performance reviews
• Conduct supplier deep dives and Integrated Risk Reviews regarding capacity, planning, and quality
• Collaborate with suppliers to create inventory cutover plans and safety stock mitigation strategies
• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal programs
• Mentor and coach members of the Work Movement team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing suppliers or vendors to deliver products and services
• 3+ years of experience in cross-functional team collaboration within a matrixed environment
• 3+ years of experience using scheduling systems and tools to maintain production schedules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• 1+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Operations
• Project Management Certification
• 5+ years of related work experience
