Supply Base Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Facilitate supplier and subcontractor business relationships to ensure performance meets contractual obligations
• Develop and implement supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies
• Analyze and monitor supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance data to identify risks and opportunities
• Develop mitigation plans to resolve issues impacting customers and programs
• Lead supplier improvement activities and incorporate findings into contracting strategies
• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal programs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supplier management or working directly with suppliers
• 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and sub-contracts
• 3+ years of experience in program management within a supplier management context
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
• 5+ years of experience creating, interpreting, or enforcing technical requirements
• 5+ years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
• Experience working effectively within multi-functional team environments
