Supply Base Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with suppliers at all levels
• Partner with suppliers to develop and lead recovery roadmaps and projects to ensure progress to plan
• Coordinate and present recovery project plans, status updates, and required actions to supply chain teams and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams including Supplier Management, Planning, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Global Field Ops
• Lead the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
• Analyze supplier and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate them into contracting strategies
• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and programs

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Procurement (e.g., Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or Supply Chain Analyst)
• 2+ years of experience managing supplier relationships
• 2+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles
• 2+ years of experience in project management
• 2+ years of cross-functional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in forecasting, asset management, and collaborative planning
• 2+ years of experience managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited demands
• 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• 2+ years of experience implementing process or strategy improvements
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain capacity planning
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
