Supply Base Coordinator - Materials

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers to deliver safe and efficient materials and logistics operations.
• Manage the overall flow of traffic and communication via the UHF radio system within the Perth Supply Base.
• Ensure all cargo load restraints and container management comply with National Transport Commission guidelines.
• Oversee safety compliance, including equipment operation and adherence to Dangerous Goods regulations.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for material picking, packing, and cargo management.
• Manage external service provider scopes of work and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Monitor and rectify inbound/outbound Chain of Responsibility (CoR) non-conformance events.
• Provide training and development opportunities to the supply base team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar materials or logistics coordination role.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence (LF).
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislative requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and general computer literacy.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness, including qualification in the transport of DG by Road, Air, and Sea.
• Understanding of Load Restraint training and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using JDE (JD Edwards) or similar inventory management systems.
