Supply Assurance Buyer II

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to support production requirements and inventory targets
• Issue and manage purchase orders for direct and indirect materials to ensure continuity of supply
• Collaborate with Production Demand Planning and Scheduling to support production needs and manage expedites
• Evaluate and adjust stocking levels to align with business demand and minimize excess or shortages
• Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a related field
• Experience issuing purchase orders and expediting materials
• Working knowledge of purchasing principles and materials management
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress toward CPM and/or CPIM certification
