Supplier Tariff Optimization Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sustainable processes for sourcing stage-gates and supplier risk management to incorporate trade compliance and tariffs
• Monitor global trade and regulatory requirements including IEEPA, 301, Section 232, and Reciprocal Tariffs
• Support the development of company policies regarding supplier trade requirements
• Create communication materials related to tariff initiatives for internal and external stakeholders
• Support sourcing mitigation plans to minimize tariff exposure based on approved policies
• Educate suppliers on necessary tariff documentation requirements
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings to drive awareness and compliance
• Review and prioritize supplier non-compliance regarding 232 Declarations
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement action plans for non-compliance
• Monitor and report on assessment findings, remediation progress, and potential issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability/Sustainable Management, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field
• Experience developing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability programs within a global supply chain
• Strong project management, planning, and coordination skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to develop process improvements
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
