Supplier Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the global product development process for new products and ensure suppliers meet CNH requirements
• Assess and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Conduct supplier audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to requirements
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update supplier quality documentation and reports
• Support the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers through evaluations and approvals

Requirements

• BE / B. Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree
• Minimum of 8 years of industrial working experience
• At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering or project management
• At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, specifically responsible for gearbox/transmission
• Strong knowledge of Driveline systems, including gear & shaft, gearbox, and transmission working structures and theory

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Deep knowledge of Quality Methods: PFMEA, Process Control Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, SPC, Controlled Shipping, and MSA (Gage R&R)
• Experience with Quality Analysis tools: Kaizen, Ishikawa, and 8D
• Understanding of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and supplier evaluation standards (ISO 9000/IATF16949)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
