Supplier Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and development of the Supplier Quality team in China from the ground up
• Ensure robust supplier quality performance across the regional supply base
• Manage supplier qualification, performance, and non-conformance processes (NCR/QN, CAPA)
• Act as the key regional interface for global SQ and cross-functional teams including Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing
• Proactively manage quality risks to ensure reliable project execution regarding cost, delivery, and schedule
• Align local supplier strategies with global GS-D business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
• Proven leadership experience, including building or scaling teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills within a regional and global matrix organization
• Willingness to travel domestically and globally up to 40%
• Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and FMEA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the gas turbines or rotating equipment industry
• Deep knowledge of supplier qualification and industrialization processes (PPQ, FAI, etc.)
• Experience working with regional supply bases in China and global supplier networks
