Supplier Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and support site Supplier Quality Engineers and receiving inspection staff
• Develop and manage the internal supply chain and external supplier requirements
• Implement and manage the MPG Supplier Quality Manual and qualification programs
• Conduct supplier audits and visits to ensure adherence to industry and technical standards
• Manage the Supplier Corrective Action System and maintain audit records
• Report supplier performance data and provide input for Quarterly Business Reviews
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to establish clear specifications and risk mitigation plans
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers

Requirements

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
• Experience in the Aviation, Space, or Defense industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Five years of technical experience with electronics or electro-mechanical components
• Strong knowledge of Quality System standards, including AS9100 and ISO9001
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ certification in supplier quality or quality engineering
• Working knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-600, IPC-620)
• Experience with SPC and Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing methodologies
