Supplier & Quality Excellence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance for lab, operation feed, and reagents to ensure stable performance and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification, new supplier onboarding, and new material approval activities.
• Plan and conduct supplier quality audits and manage the follow-up of corrective actions until closure.
• Handle supplier quality complaints and organize quality meetings to ensure root cause analysis and effective resolution.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through material approval, trial support, and PPAP readiness.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, A3, and DMAIC.
• Conduct monthly and annual supplier performance evaluations in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
• Identify and drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities related to supplier quality and lab operations.
• Support compliance with IATF16949 and internal quality management system requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in supplier quality engineering or quality engineering roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Demonstrated leadership in problem-solving and corrective action management.
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving and ability to analyze trends (PPM, Pareto).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage supplier relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and drive complex actions to closure.
