Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage quality and delivery topics for serial production parts from suppliers
• Safeguard production lines through containment actions and 8D handling
• Monitor supplier quality performance and implement measures to meet targets
• Coordinate and implement strategic supplier development projects and training
• Support APQP and PPAP release processes during the product development phase
• Perform annual supplier audits and ensure timely closure of open items
• Handle cost charge-back topics (SNCC) related to non-conforming parts
• Manage supplier escalation cases for serial production parts

Requirements

• 4-7 years of working experience in automotive quality within a Tier 1 environment
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF16949 and VDA
• Proficiency in problem-solving and quality tools including FMEA, MSA, SPC, and fish-bone diagrams
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, or die casting
• Experience with E-drive relevant components is preferred
