Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits and participate in the selection and validation of new suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance gaps related to PPM and OTD
• Analyze non-conformities and manage corrective action plans using tools like 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Why
• Review and validate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) records
• Intervene on production lines to identify, isolate, and block non-conforming batches
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and R&D teams to provide quality support during product development
• Support suppliers in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Knowledge of engineering, industrial manufacturing, or purchasing processes
• Understanding of ISO9001 standards
• Proficiency with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, AMDEC, and SPC
• Ability to manage priorities and understand quality process system requirements
• Proficiency in English
