Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering expertise to support the launch and development of new products.
• Assess project risks and provide training to suppliers to ensure successful design and launch.
• Recommend design or process changes to meet quality requirements and performance expectations.
• Conduct onsite reviews of quality plans and perform factory assessments for supplier selection and approval.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality systems through regular assessments and in-process audits.
• Lead supplier corrective action activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of solutions.
• Develop and update quality specification documents and communicate requirements to suppliers and inspection teams.
• Perform product lot audits and lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes, products, and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial), Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Technical experience with electrical components such as adapters, motors, PCBA, and batteries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
