Supplier Quality Engineer, Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of supplier quality engineers across manufacturing and data center infrastructure disciplines
• Lead supplier qualification, audits, and ongoing performance management for manufactured components and building materials
• Develop and enforce quality control standards, inspection protocols, and acceptance criteria
• Serve as the organizational SME on supplier quality for procurement, engineering, and construction stakeholders
• Own quality KPIs and metrics, driving root-cause and corrective action on supplier quality issues
• Represent the function in leadership reviews and executive escalations

Requirements

• Experience leading supplier quality across manufacturing and large-scale infrastructure or construction
• Proven track record of managing and growing a team of quality engineers
• Expertise in supplier qualification, audits, and corrective-action processes
• Deep knowledge of quality systems, inspection protocols, and root-cause analysis
• Ability to communicate credibly at the executive and founder level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both hardware manufacturing and construction materials
• Background in hyperscale or data center supply chains
• Six Sigma or CQE certification
• Experience building a supplier quality function from scratch
