Supplier Quality Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in manufacturing technologies to drive product quality with key suppliers
• Manage and drive quality improvements specifically for Cable and PCBA suppliers
• Investigate non-conformances with manufacturing sites and field teams to ensure supplier closure
• Drive FMEA and implement Process Control Systems (PCS)
• Review SPC data and manage suppliers’ OCAP execution
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct supplier audits, including surveillance and problem-solving audits
• Lead investigations and support SCAR/8D reporting and failure analysis (FA)
• Develop strong supplier relationships and manage up to 20% international travel

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Experience in Cable or PCBA-related processes preferred
• Fluent English communication skills for global supplier interaction
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
• Ability to read and interpret Cable/PCB drawings
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA)
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection, and metrology
