Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Implement Vendor Management program and supporting metrics
• Create quality control guidelines and protocols
• Conduct audits of supplier management quality systems
• Visit vendor facilities to ensure quality standards are upheld
• Perform risk assessments, PFMEA, and root-cause analysis
• Act as a liaison between vendors and company leaders to resolve quality challenges
• Oversee and document process improvement strategies

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant field with related work experience
• Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering
• Experience with Infor Syteline ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of UL, CSA, and other regulatory requirements
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and IPC Standards
• Background in supply chain and quality assurance
• Proficiency in statistics and quality engineering
