Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection processes including quality, capability, cost, and compliance assessments
• Execute supplier qualification through risk assessments, audits, and approval processes
• Manage material and component qualification using PPAP, FAI, FMEA, and control plans
• Troubleshoot supplier quality issues as a Subject Matter Expert and drive corrective actions
• Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure ISO and regulatory compliance
• Monitor pilot runs and ensure smooth transitions from development to mass production
• Evaluate supplier performance and track KPIs, including dock-to-stock programs
• Collaborate with sourcing and cross-functional teams to manage ECO/ECN/SCR changes
• Drive process control effectiveness through capability studies and DOE activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or technical field
• Advanced English proficiency
• Approximately 6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry
• Deep knowledge of electronic assembly, PCB processes, and testing methods
• Proficiency with inspection, mechanical, and electrical measurement tools
• Strong knowledge of Core tools including APQP, 8D, 5W, and PPAP
• Experience with internal and external ISO9001 auditing
