Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier visits and perform quality and capacity audits using OEE, saturation, lead time (LT), and on-time delivery (OTD)
• Support supplier qualification and assess technical capabilities and readiness
• Manage non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive action processes
• Drive continuous improvement through RCA, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and other methodologies
• Ensure compliance with APQP, FAI, CQC, and customer/regulatory requirements
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and develop improvement plans
• Conduct audits aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100
• Maintain accurate documentation and report performance updates

Requirements

• 5+ years of supplier quality experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong background in machining, metal fabrication, structural frames, and welding
• Proficiency with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, PDCA, APQP/FAI/CQC
• Experience with WCM, Lean Six Sigma, and capacity audits
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 2 weeks per month) domestically and internationally
